Elastic

As part of my onboarding at Mazama, I was tasked with creating a motion graphics ad (and accompanying static placements) for a fictitious company named "Elastic," tailored to resonate with the Gen Z audience. The ads aimed to capture the essence of a fun, lighthearted brand with a positive, bright, and colorful image, achieved through the use of illustrative elements like stickers and dynamic motion graphics. Additionally, I was given an example brand, Bala, to source product and lifestyle images from.

Deliverables

The landscape ad follows the given direction by emphasizing movement and conveying a lively, colorful, and expressive tone. Line and contrast guide the viewer's attention through various components, with a style closely resembling that of the mood boards.

The static 1x1 uses similar techniques as the landscape ad but incorporates more stickers and accents to promote the lighthearted and fun aspect of Elastic.

In the animated ad, timing and appeal seamlessly integrate the initial elements, while squash and stretch unveil the logo in a manner fitting of the Elastic brand, before building anticipation ahead of the exit animation.
